As I was looking at an old notebook, I noticed that I made a few annotations about compassion that I want to share with you now. They are:
1. Compassion goes where people are, to where the lost are. Luke 10:33
2. Compassion is from the heart. Luke 10:33
3. Compassion leaves no room for condemnation. Luke 10:34
4. Compassion yields its rights for the sake of others. Luke 10:34
5. Compassion follows through to the end. Luke 10:35
The next time you run low on compassion, first remember that someone first showed you compassion!
